San Diego, CA November 21, 2011— AVIDACO, LLC, a premier supplier of a joint health product, today announced its product ACTIVE Plus PRO has earned certification by NSF International's Certified for Sport® program. The NSF Certified for Sport® designation certifies that ACTIVE Plus PRO is free of all banned substances.

The certification comes from NSF International, a U.S.-based, independent public health and safety organization that certifies products and writes standards for food, water, dietary supplements and consumer goods to minimize adverse health effects. The NSF Certified for Sport® program is recognized by major sports organizations including the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Hockey League (NHL), Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and the Professional Golf Association (PGA). The program was developed in response to the concerns of athletes, coaches, team owners and others about finding banned substances in sports nutrition products.

To achieve certification, NSF International performs rigorous testing on AVIDACO's ACTIVE Plus PRO to certify that the label information matches the ingredients of the product and that no banned substances are present, such as narcotics, steroids, stimulants, diuretics, masking agents or other unsafe levels of contaminants

Requirements of the NSF Certified for Sport® program include:

Formulation and label review
Toxicology review
Facility Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) inspection
Laboratory analysis for label contents, undeclared ingredients and contaminants
Ongoing product monitoring and testing
